Sofie De Meyer

Dr Sofie De Meyer was one of two winners of the Woodside STEM Excellence award in the 2019 Business News 40under40.

After an academic career researching bacteria in legumes, Dr De Meyer founded Maldi-Id, a business which aims to provide a faster, cheaper way for farmers to identify and ensure that they have the ideal kind of nitrogen-fixing bacteria on their legume roots, reducing the need for fertilisers.
