Patrick (Paddy) Gregg was appointed chief executive of Austal in January 2021 after serving four years as chief operating officer. He brings significant project management, manufacturing and business expertise, built over a career spanning the high-technology nuclear defence, rail and naval shipbuilding sectors.
Now, Mr Gregg leads a global organisation with more than 5,000 employees, five shipyards and eight service centres across four countries. His leadership has been central to Austal’s success in delivering world-class commercial and naval vessels and supporting critical sustainment operations for the Royal Australian Navy and Australian Border Force.
