Nel Minchin
Nel Minchin is a writer, director and producer who makes documentaries.
Her debut feature documentary, Firestarter – The Story of Bangarra, was screened at 35 festivals across the world and won the Rose D’Or for arts programming, the Walkley documentary award and the AACTA for best documentary, among others.
Ms Minchin has also produced and directed several prime-time TV documentaries, including The Way We Wore with Celese Barber and sports series Folau.
Ms Minchin started her career in London working across various platforms and genres for the BBC, Channel Five and Google Creative Lab. She studied a Bachelor of Arts in Australian history at The University of Western Australia.
