During Peter Brown’s tenure as managing director of Geraldton-based WestNet from January 1996 to May 2008, he oversaw the growth of the internet service provider from a small regional business to a national organisation where company revenues expanded 200 per cent, staff numbers increased from 10 to 90, and the company acquired several small struggling ISPs. Prior to Westnet, Mr Brown was a director of Mitchell and Brown Communications in Geraldton.
