Darren Haunold discovered his calling as a winemaker on 4 wheel drive adventure around Australia. Overcoming the obstacles that faced him as a paraplegic, Mr Haunold threw himself into work as a vineyard manager in Dunsborough and after one year of experience purchased Wills Domain in Margaret River. Positioning the 50 acre property as an icon vineyard, Mr Haunold single handedly directed all facets of the viticulture, wine making and distribution business. With five vintages under his belt and numerous gold, silver and bronze accolades for his wines, Mr Haunold has driven turnover into the millions of dollars and is poised to launch the Wills Domain trademark to an international resort and hotel chain.
