
Kalium Lakes is an exploration and development company focused on the Beyondie Potash Project 160km south east of Newman.
Based in Western Australia, it had a tenement package covering more than 2,400 square kilometres at the eastern margin of the East Pilbara Region of Western Australia.
The company is sought to develop a sub-surface Brine deposit to produce a sulfate of potash product, by undertaking an evaporation and processing operation at Beyondie.
KLL listed on the ASX in December 2016 following a $6 million IPO.
In August 2023, administrators and receivers were appointed to Kalium Lakes and two of its subsidiaries, Kalium Lakes Potash and Kalium Lakes Infrastructure, following funding issues with the Beyondie project.
The subsidiaries Kalium Lakes Potash and Kalium Lakes Infrastructure were placed into liquidation in March 2024, after planned share sale agreements failed to proceed.
In June 2024, Kalium Lakes was recapitalised through a deed of company arrangement.
Kalium Lakes was removed from the ASX following two years of suspension on June 10, 2025.
