Today, the Group delivers integrated whole-of-project services through four key operating businesses: Diamond Underground Services, ECM, Powerlines Plus (PLP) and Proton Power.

In January this year, the Group announced it had secured construction contracts in the resource and power sector from long-term customers, worth a combined value of approximately $23 million.
Its PLP business alone was awarded a project by Hamersley Iron (Rio Tinto) - under a Master Services Contract for Sustaining Capital - for the construction, supply, installation & commissioning of Brockman Nammuldi Lens AB Powerlines; an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract with Sino Iron for the design, supply, installation, testing, commissioning and start-up of a 33kV power line to Eramurra Village; and two EPC contracts with Fortescue Metals Group (Fortescue) to design, construct, test, install and commission the power and telecommunications infrastructure services at the Iron Bridge Magnetite Project in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Crucially, when installing this key infrastructure at Iron Bridge, PLP will engage the other three companies in the Genus stable - ECM, Diamond Underground Services and Proton Power - as subcontractors to deliver the two-package scope.
Additionally, Genus’ Diamond Underground Services business was awarded a contract from Western Power for the State Underground Power Program in Collier, Western Australia which will replace overhead power lines in established areas with underground power infrastructure.
