Echo, Metaliko confirm $39m merger
Investors have reacted well to news that gold-focused companies Echo Resources and Metaliko Resources will merge in a deal worth $38.9 million.
Barry Bolitho has over 40 years experience as a mining professional. He has been responsible for the commissioning and management of a number of gold mining operations, both in Western Australia and internationally.
Mr Bolitho has gained extensive experience in the executive management of resource based companies with particular emphasis in exploration, operations, project management, administration and corporate development.
He has been an executive and non-executive director of a number of ASX and TSX listed resource companies.

Investors have reacted well to news that gold-focused companies Echo Resources and Metaliko Resources will merge in a deal worth $38.9 million.
Kyla Garic has resigned as joint company secretary of Calidus Resources. James Carter, current chief financial officer, will become the sole company secretary.
George Ventouras has resigned as non-executive director of Apollo Consolidated, having served on the board since 2009. He will be involved with the company in an executive consulting capacity.
Junior gold miner Echo Resources has appointed former Eastern Goldfields chief executive Victor Rajasooriar as its new leader, effective today, after former chief executive Simon Coxhell resigned in October.
Alliance Mineral Assets has appointed Mark Turner as executive director of operations, and non-executive director Geoffrey McNamara becomes non-executive chair. Mr Turner is a mining engineer with more than 30 years of experience in the resources sector.
Symbol Mining has gone into administration, less than three months after the Subiaco junior tapped the market for nearly $2.2 million.
