Philanthropic support bolsters WA growth
Western Australia's charity sector strongly relies on support from philanthropic donations to buoy significant projects that help make lives better for people in the state.
In 1978 prominent Perth businessman Stan Perron established the Stan Perron Charitable Foundation, providing a formal structure for establishing his philanthropy work which focuses mainly on the health of Western Australian children. Stan Perron Charitable Foundation is trustee for the Stan Perron Charitable Trust, which donates to almost 150 charities each year.
Following the passing of Mr Perron in 2018, his daughter Elizabeth Perron took over as chair of the Foundation.
