Philanthropic support bolsters WA growth
Western Australia's charity sector strongly relies on support from philanthropic donations to buoy significant projects that help make lives better for people in the state.
The Minderoo Foundation Trust, trading as the Minderoo Foundation, is a philanthropic entity founded by Andrew and Nicola Forrest. It is one of the largest and most active philanthropic entities in Australia.
The Forrests also control private company Tattarang (formerly Minderoo Group), which has a major shareholding in Fortescue Metals Group and interests in mining and agriculture.
