Mirabela Nickel engaged in the exploration and development of mineral properties in Brazil. The company produced and sold nickel concentrate, as well as other metals, such as copper, cobalt, and platinum.
Its principal asset included the 100% owned Santa Rita nickel sulphide mine in Bahia, Brazil.
The company was placed into receivership in October 2015, after that mine was placed into care and maintenance. Mirabela was removed from the ASX in August 2016 due to failure to pay its listing fees.
