Firefly Resources, formerly Marindi Metals, is an ASX-listed company focused on exploring for and developing high-grade gold projects in Australia.
The key asset in Firefly’s portfolio is an extensive exploration package covering a total area of ~1,000 square kilometres in the Forrestania Greenstone Belt in Western Australia which, as a geological and structural host, has produced more than 10 million ounces of high-grade gold from several open-pit and underground mines.
The company was formerly known as Sirius Resources and changed its name to Brumby Resources in October 2006, then to Marindi Metals in 2015, and to Firefly Resources in 2019.
In November 2021, Firefly Resources was acquired by Gascoyne Resources.
