Chow Tai Fook Enterprises is a private Hong Kong-based holding company owned and controlled by the late billionaire Dato' Dr Cheng Yu-tung's family. Its main interests are in HK jewelry business Chow Tai Fook Jewellery (89%) and property development, infrastructure and services, retail, and hotels and serviced apartments company New World Development Company (44%). In 2017 they announced plans to buy Australian gas retailer Alinta Energy for approximately $4bn.
