Established in New South Wales in 1977, Birdon is a privately owned marine engineering firm with significant contracts in the defence and oil and gas sectors in Australia and the US.
Birdon established a permanent base at Henderson in WA in 2017 and has expanded significantly over the years since. In 2021 it acquired a shipyard in Dampier supporting the state's resources sector.
In WA, it offers ship design, building, maintenance and decomissioning services.
