ASX-listed Oakdale Resources has been granted new exploration ground covering its Gibraltar Halloysite-Kaolin project on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula where historical drilling uncovered shallow kaolinitic clays, adjacent to Andromeda Metals’ Mount Hope halloysite project. Confirmation of the news charged the company's share price more than 23 per cent higher in daily trade by Thursdays close.

Legend Mining is on a roll in the Fraser Range with recent exploration over its Rockford South tenure outlining a third electromagnetic, or “EM” target at the Hurley prospect. This is the fifth EM target the company has generated in its southern tenure, with the prospect area quickly shaping up as Legend’s newest nickel sulphide target.

Venus Metals Corporation has joined the hunt for the next Julimar nickel-PGE discovery in WA with the company acquiring two new tenements at Bridgetown East. The tenure covers over 270 square kilometres of prospective stratigraphy and hosts a previously defined electromagnetic sulphide target in the southern portion of the project area. Geophysical and geochemical surveys over the target are expected to kick off in the coming weeks.

Eclipse Metals has extended the high-grade envelope of manganese mineralisation surrounding the historical mine workings at its Amamoor project in Queensland. The Stage 1 drilling program intersected manganese mineralisation from surface within the old mine area whilst the Stage Two drilling, proximal to the old workings, also continues to intersect high-grade ores – samples are being dispatched to the lab with results expected in the coming weeks.

AI-powered, home care service provider InteliCare has expanded its reach across the Australian healthcare sector entering into an agency agreement with Melbourne-based company, Rehab Hire, to distribute its technology in Victoria. The agreement will result in Rehab Hire receiving a commission on products sold and is not subject to sales targets or exclusivity: Rehab Hire intends to recruit a dedicated sales manager to market the InteliCare product line.

ASX-listed gold producer, Wiluna Mining, has increased the total resource base for the main Wiluna Mining Centre, or “WMC” at its historic Wiluna project in WA by nine per cent to 5.1 million ounces of contained gold – from 52.98 million tonnes of ore going 3 grams per tonne gold. With a global resource of 7.3Moz, Wiluna is now the seventh largest gold district in Australia.

Indiana Resources surprised investors this morning releasing details of a substantial compensation claim against the Tanzanian government following the expropriation of the company’s Ntaka Hill nickel project in 2019. Indiana’s claim to the World Bank, acting as arbitrator, is for a cool US$95 million and is expected to increase as the company develops its full ‘statement of claim’ in the coming months.

Barton Gold’s geological modelling and targeting is continuing to pay dividends at Tarcoola, with recent drilling outlining a new ore shoot along strike from the Perseverance open pit. The discovery is one of a bevy of exploration targets being tested by the company at its developing South Australian project with intercepts including 7m at 7.5 g/t gold, including a two metre intersection at an eye-catching 22.8 g/t gold from 95m down-hole.

Mako Gold has nailed down additional gold tenure in Cote d’Ivoire with the Ministry of Mines in the west African country granting the company’s new Korhogo Nord permit. The new project area covers the same greenstone belt that hosts the world-class Tongon gold mine which is located 30km to the north of Korhogo Nord. Exploration continues over the company’s Napie project, south of Korhogo.

ASX-listed platinum group metals explorer, Podium Minerals, has commenced resource modelling that envisages a continuous resource block of about 6.1km at its Parks Reef PGMs project in the Mid West region of WA. The Perth-based company may also have topped up its combined platinum, palladium and gold resource with potentially more base metals and rhodium credits following encouraging intersections from a recently completed RC drilling program.

ASX-listed gold explorer Classic Minerals says it expects the remaining key components of a mobile processing plant to be delivered to its Kat Gap gold project near Southern Cross in WA in just over a month, taking the company a significant step closer to first production. The latest stated inferred resource at the Kat Gap discovery is 975,722 tonnes at 2.96 g/t for 92,856 ounces of contained gold.
