MetalsGrove Mining is emerging as a focused West African gold explorer, with early soil sampling and mapping defining multiple targets at its Zuénoula project in Côte d'Ivoire. The project forms part of a larger 1315-square-kilometre landholding along a highly prospective Birimian greenstone belt, where the company is steadily moving towards drill ready targets.

Triangle Energy has locked in financing from ASX-listed Winchester Energy and Triangle's wholly owned subsidiary, Tetragon Energy, to fund an Indonesian Joint Study in an offshore oil and gas exploration license in Indonesia. The deal will spread the costs and risk while allowing the company to retain a 51 per cent stake and operatorship in any future PSC.

Lindian Resources has brought its Tipume accommodation camp online at its Kangankunde rare earths project in Malawi, enabling workforce mobilisation and removing a key logistics constraint as construction ramps up. The camp underpins Lindian's push toward first rare earths production targeted for Q4 2026.

Aurum Resources has secured firm commitments for a $28.8M placement at a premium price of 60 cents per share, anchored by Perseus Mining's $23.69M investment for a 9.9 per cent stake. Siren Gold's latest infill drilling campaign has kept the solid gold hits coming at its Sams Creek project, sitting at the top of New Zealand's South Island in the picturesque Golden Bay. Initial assays received for the first six holes have returned impressive numbers, including 4.8 metres grading 4.39 grams per tonne from 53.6m and a 4.2m slice running at 3.25g/t from 21.9m.

Neometals Limited has locked in a controlling stake of Utah Brine Corporation, gaining low-cost exposure to a lithium and potash brine opportunity in the Paradox Basin in Utah, USA. The venture has exclusive access to 24 inactive oil and gas wells for sampling and test work. Neometals will fund up to US$2 (A$2.82) million over three years.

Neometals has completed five reverse-circulation holes for 495m at the historic Rinaldi copper prospect within its Barrambie project, near Sandstone in WA's Mid West. Early results have confirmed primary copper sulphides 70m below surface, including the key copper ore minerals bornite and chalcopyrite. Early results from only 10 per cent of the submitted samples include 7m at a respectable 1.72 per cent copper from 82m depth.

In a slightly perverse twist, the oncology mid-cap bounced hard from last week's near-death experience, clawing back 53 per cent after a brutal 90 per cent wipeout last week. Blue Star Helium floated higher on mounting anticipation of near-term production from its Colorado-based Galactica project, with helium sales edging closer, and Patagonia Lithium rode a wave of speculation around looming results from its Lithium Triangle projects in Argentina.

Neometals Limited has delivered a positive scoping study for its Ironclad deposit at the company's fully owned Barrambie gold project in WA, pointing to a fast toll-milling run of up to 11,000 ounces of gold from an estimated 220,000 tonnes of ore at a grade of 1.8g/t. The study found that a proposed 50:50 mining services JV could fast-track mine development, with a kick-off in Q1 2027.

Patriot Resources has announced the hiring of Dominic Duggan as managing director to drive growth at its Tassa silver project in Peru. Duggan, who is already the company's chief executive officer, is a mining engineer and finance professional with more than 10 years of experience across multi-commodity underground and open pit operations, including at Rio Tinto.

Dalaroo Metals has defined a high priority 2.5 kilometre drill target at its Bondoukou gold project in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa. Geological mapping and surface sampling have returned gold values up to 17.95g/t gold and point to a large, structurally controlled Birimian style gold system ahead of drilling.

Dateline Resources has purchased and deployed a second diamond drill rig at its Colosseum gold and rare earths project in California's Walker Lane, bringing the total number of rigs on site to three. The track-mounted rig can drill to 1,200 metres and will work alongside the existing contracted rig to complete a 12-hole rare earths program before targeting additional gold and rare earths zones. A third company-owned rig is also being deployed to test underground gold potential.
