Anglo Australian Resources continues to intersect gold with extensional drilling at its Mandilla gold project in WA. Eye-catching widths and impressive grades include a staggering 64.57 metres grading 3.49 grams per tonne gold from 190m at Mandilla East. An update to the mineral resource estimate has commenced. The company believes recent results are likely to add significantly to the resource.

Ora Banda Mining has boosted its gold reserves by 10,000 ounces across the six key deposits at its flagship Davyhurst Gold Project in the Goldfields despite the fact that it mined 28,000 ounces of it during FY21. The company is ironing out teething problems at the reinvented mine as it looks to ramp the project up to its nameplate capacity of around 80,000 ounces of production a year.

White Cliff Minerals has identified a smattering of new drill targets at its Reedy South gold project in WA following a fruitful soil sampling program across key prospects. The company returned a maximum gold value of 137ppb after gathering 383 additional soil samples covering areas south and west of its previous sampling at the McCaskill’s Hill and Cracker Jack deposits and the southern portion of the Pegasus deposit.

ASX-listed aspiring gold developer Horizon Minerals has returned a swag of encouraging drill intersections of between one and three grams per tonne gold from a first-pass reverse circulation program at its flagship Boorara project near Kalgoorlie in WA. The drilling vectored in on several prospects lining a 10km corridor that takes in the company’s centrepiece 448,240-ounce Boorara deposit and smaller 30,720-ounce Golden Ridge deposit.

ASX-listed Aldoro Resources has substantially increased its exposure to the battery metals sector after it successfully completed due diligence on and settled the acquisition of two lithium-rich projects in Western Australia’s Mt Magnet region adjacent to its Narndee-Windimurra project. Aldoro will now pick up Meridian 120 Mining’s 100 per cent interest in tenements located in the Mt Magnet area of Western Australia.

Coda Minerals has backed up its high-profile Emmie Bluff IOCG discovery in South Australia’s revered Gawler Craton with recent drilling returning copper mineralisation over more than 35 metres width including an impressive 28.14m at 1.21 per cent copper, 0.37 grams per tonne gold and 2.3 g/t silver from 810.79m down-hole. The company says individual assays kick as high as 5.39 per cent copper within the sulphide zone.

Aurora Labs appears to have scored a major coup by entering into a collaboration agreement with Australian defence contractor, BAE Systems Maritime Australia to test its specialist 3D metal printing technology’s ability to “print” stainless steel components for the construction of Australian Navy frigates. The components to be tested are currently sourced via traditional manufacturing and wholesale channels.

ASX-listed gold miner Ora Banda Mining has chalked up a solid quarter of gold production at its recently revived flagship Davyhurst mining and processing operation in WA. The company achieved total gold output of 10,356 ounces for the three-month period ended June 30 from 201,817 tonnes of ore treated that went at an average head grade of 1.81 grams per tonne.

Aldoro Resources has added to its exploration target list in Western Australia, with recent geophysical surveying over its tenure on the Narndee Intrusion, east of Paynes Find, lighting up new drill targets. Moving loop electromagnetic surveys over the ground to the east of its VC1 prospect has highlighted two prospective sulphide conductors, with three-dimensional modelling providing additional targets for current drilling programs.

ASX-listed Ardiden Limited has secured a $500,000 improvement in the terms of its divestment of up to 80 per cent of its hard-rock lithium projects in north-west Ontario, Canada, to ASX hopeful Green Technology Metals. The duo will form a joint venture partnership that will see Green Technology buy the stake under a staged-payment structure for $9.2 million.

Perth-based explorer Venture Minerals has increased its footprint in Western Australia’s emerging western Yilgarn nickel-copper-PGE province, through the strategic earn-in acquisition of highly prospective tenure south of the company’s Kulin project. Kulin sits along strike of the Jimperding metamorphic belt that hosts Chalice Mining’s high-profile Julimar nickel-copper-PGE discovery.

ASX-listed Si6 Metals expects to wrap up its acquisition of the Monument gold project in Western Australia’s Laverton district before the end of next month after exercising a long-held option with DiscovEx Resources to purchase the large land package in one of the world’s most prolific gold producing areas.
