Perseus raises $6.5m for gold exploration in Africa, Asia

Shares in Balcatta-based mineral explorer Perseus Mining Ltd closed up 5.7 per cent today following the announcement of plans to raise $6.5 million via a placement to advance gold exploration projects in West Africa and Central Asia.
