Timothy Mack founded Blackoak Capital Ventures in 2020. Under his leadership, Blackoak Capital Ventures has launched several initiatives, including Lumen Living, a developer and manager of Specialist Disability Accommodation, Wildflowers Early Learning (childcare), and the Edward Millen Precinct (hospitality).
With over 20 years of experience in the property and finance industries across Australia and Canada, Mr Mack has been involved in diverse sectors such as office, industrial, retail, hospitality, hotels, land subdivisions, and childcare. His expertise encompasses complex developments, including projects with significant heritage components.
Prior to founding Blackoak Capital Ventures, Mr Mack served as managing director (2010-2017) and executive director (2018-2020) at FJM Property, overseeing investments and developments like the State Buildings, Knutsford Fremantle, and the ABN Building in Leederville. Earlier in his career, he was an investment banking executive at Macquarie Bank, specialising in infrastructure and project finance.
