Simon Jessop has more than 20 years of experience in a range of senior management roles with leading mid-tier mining companies and contractors.
He holds qualifications as a Mining Engineer and Mine Surveyor from the world-renowned Western Australian School of Mines (WASM) in Kalgoorlie.
For 6 years, Mr Jessop held a number of senior roles at Australia’s second largest ASX-listed gold miner Evolution Mining, including as general manager of Kalgoorlie Region. Prior to that, he held a range of positions with Evolution including as general manager of underground operations, overseeing the Pajingo and Cracow Gold Mines in Queensland, and before that as general manager of Cracow when Evolution was established in 2011. Prior to joining Evolution, Mr Jessop also held senior roles with base metals miner Panoramic Resources, including as operations manager of the Lanfranchi Nickel mine in WA and as manager of projects. He also worked for mining contractor Byrnecut Australia.
