Ron Sayers

Ronald (Ron) Sayers was the founder and managing director of Ausdrill, which he started in Kalgoorlie in 1987. Mr Sayers retired as managing director in 1997, only to return to the role three years later when the company got into financial strife. He resigned as the managing director and chief executive of Ausdrill in February 2018.

Mr Sayers was also a non-executive director of Amcom Telecommunications and Carbine Resources.

He had a horse-breeding business called Yarradale Stud.

Mr Sayers passed away in May 2022.
