Ray Jordan has more than 35 years’ experience in corporate communications and media, with specific focus in the financial services sector.
Before entering corporate communications, he was deputy editor of The West Australian. Mr Jordan was head of corporate affairs at HBOS Australia and BankWest, managing a team responsible for media relations, internal communications and an organisational philanthropic foundation across Australia. He was also directly involved in the sale and subsequent partial public float of BankWest, before managing the communications program for the Scheme of Arrangement through which the majority shareholder HBOS acquired the minority shareholding in BankWest.
Ray Jordan is one of Australia’s most experienced and respected wine journalists, contributing to newspapers and magazines for more than 40 years. His wine column has featured in Business News since 2022.
