Paul Arndt has over 40 years of experience in developing and managing complex mining and processing operations (open cut and underground mining through to concentrating & smelting) in a broad range of base metals, gold and lithium. He had also managed public-listed and privately-owned producers with international operations in Australia and Latin America; and led change programs in Australia, the Americas, Africa and South East Asia.
Mr Arndt was the managing director of Perilya. He was initially appointed as executive general manager operations to oversee the Broken Hill operation before his elevation to the CEO role. Former roles include senior management positions with Newcrest Mining at their Telfer operation in Western Australia, Pasminco's Cockle Creek smelter in Boolaroo, and MIM Holdings Britannia zinc and lead operation in Avonmouth, UK.
Mr Arndt holds a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours) in Physical and Inorganic Chemistry, a Graduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, a Master of Applied Science in Chemistry, and a Master of Business Administration.
