Nick Strong is a mining engineer with more than 25 years of operational and leadership experience across the mining industry.

He joined Greatland Resources as chief operating officer in October 2026, taking responsibility for the company's Telfer and Havieron operations in Western Australia. 

Mr Strong has held leadership roles across the mining industry, including serving at Northern Star, Rio Tinto and Newcrest Mining.

He served as general manager of the Hemi Gold Project and KCGM expansion at Northern Star from 2021 to 2026.
