Explorer Kalgoorlie Gold Mining has almost doubled the strike length of its La Mascotte prospect at the Bulong Taurus project to more than 500 metres after its recent diamond drilling program 35km east of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. The company's standout results include a two-metre gold hit going 16 grams per tonne, with more assays in the pipeline from the campaign.

Kalgoorlie Gold Mining or KalGold has launched a diamond drill program to further characterise gold mineralisation and to inform future JORC 2012 resource estimates. The move follows a string of successes at its La Mascotte prospect within the company's flagship Bulong Taurus project near Kalgoorlie. An RC rig is also set to join the party in late April or early May to keep the campaign going.

Junior gold explorer Kalgoorlie Gold Mining, or KalGold has locked in a diamond rig and RC rig to continue its exploration work following in the wake of a 3,519m program at the company's flagship Bulong Taurus gold project near Kalgoorlie in WA. Whilst drill assays are pending, a series of shallow auger results have returned confirming extensive gold anomalism south and southeast from the La Mascotte prospect for up to 1.5km.

ASX-listed Kalgoorlie Gold Mining has begun assessing drill targets over its highly prospective but vastly under-explored Pinjin and Ninga Mia gold projects in Western Australia's Goldfields. The Pinjin project occupies prime real estate along strike from Ramelius Resources' Lake Rebecca project and Ninga Mia is no slouch either sitting adjacent to Kalgoorlie's revered super pit.

Encouraging results in the initial six hole drill campaign include a 7m hit going 14.87 grams per tonne gold from surface.

Kalgoorlie Gold Mining has spied out a gold target east of Kalgoorlie that it identified through geophysical interpretation. The same areas have recently turned up some cracking gold nuggets and the company is now planning a 3,000 metre-plus RC drill program to test the new target area. It also plans to drill test other established gold prospects that showed promising first pass drilling results.

Kalgoorlie Gold Mining, or KalGold has spotted a near surface open pit mining opportunity at its La Mascotte gold system near Kalgoorlie after reviewing a grab bag of historical bonanza near surface gold hits. Notable results identified include 7 metres grading 14.87 grams per tonne gold from surface and 2m grading a bonanza 141.15g/t gold or over 4 ounces to the tonne from 8m downhole.

Kalgoorlie Gold Mining has nailed a grab bag of wide, shallow gold intercepts in its first up drill program at the company's flagship Bulong Taurus prospect just 35 kilometres east of Kalgoorlie. Notable intercepts include a thick 18 metre hit grading 1.23 grams per tonne gold from just 1m downhole, 10m going 1.29g/t from 23m and 10m at 1.16g/t gold from 52m.

Kalgoorlie Gold Mining is set to pocket up to $12 million following the closing date of its initial public offering on the 26th of October. The company will use the money to follow up on some bonanza historical gold hits east of Kalgoorlie that inexplicably were never run to ground. Kalgoorlie Gold will spin out of Ardea Resources who has been quietly amassing some serious gold tenure amongst its massive nickel holdings.
