Matthew Boyes is a qualified geologist with over 25 years of experience in the mining industry. He has a strong background in minerals resources, project development, construction and operations management. He also has significant experience in product evaluations and financing, with a focus on the junior market sector.
Prior to becoming the managing director of Red Dirt Metals in September 2021, Mr Boyes was the chief executive of TNT Mines and chief operating officer of AIM-listed Patagonia Gold where he oversaw the construction of two standalone gold-silver heap leach projects in southern Argentina.
He is a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
