St George Mining has announced that additional high grade nickel sulphides were intersected at the Stricklands prospect within its Mt Alexander project, near Leonora. The 16.1 metre combined intercept is true width, starting from 33.1m downhole and contains a 1.0m section with an average grade of 4.4% nickel using XRF analyses. The result confirms consistency of mineralisation for a further 50m.

St George Mining continue to make impressive nickel-copper hits at Mt Alexander near the Agnew-Wiluna belt, with the latest drill hole intercepting massive sulphides with in-field, XRF readings of 4.75% nickel and 1.5% copper. The latest hole suggests the very high grade mineralisation discovered last November at the Stricklands prospects is still open to the north and west.

St George Mining has announced a high grade nickel-copper sulphide intersection from the Stricklands prospect at its Mt Alexander project west of Leonora in W.A. The 13.6 metre intercept from 40m depth contained a 4m section with average grades of 4.7% nickel and 2.0% copper using pXRF analyses. The mineralisation is true width and backs up last years spectacular 17.5m hit going 3% nickel.

After rain delays, St George Mining is back on site at the Mt Alexander project near Leonora with a drill rig to follow up impressive nickel-copper hits that sent the company's shares into orbit last November. A 20-hole diamond and RC program will target extensions of a thick channel of mineralised rocks and test some new electromagnetic targets in under-explored areas.

New geophysical work by St George Mining at its East Laverton project suggests the Windsor X3 conductor could represent a deeper, larger nickel target than previously modelled which prompted an immediate second drill hole. An electromagnetic survey down the first hole at Windsor X3 suggested a conductor about twice the previous size was lurking further down.

After an impressive run of nickel-copper hits at Mt Alexander in the final weeks of 2017, St George Mining is now also focussing on its East Laverton project with the re-start of drilling at the X3 conductor. St George rates X3 as one of its best targets in the current drill program, partly because of its stand-out conductivity.

St George Mining has extended the strike length of nickel-copper sulphides at its Cathedrals prospect to 400 metres after assays revealed more high-grade drill hits from step-out holes. The latest results from Cathedrals, part of the Mt Alexander project just south of the Agnew-Wiluna belt, continues an exceptional run of news that has driven a rally in St George shares since November.

St George Mining has ended 2017 with its share price on an upward trajectory on confirmation that its Mt Alexander project produced one of the most impressive base metals drill hits in the country this year. New assay results have revealed a 17 metre drill intersection grading 3.01% nickel, 1.31% copper, 0.13% cobalt and 1.68 g/t platinum group elements from a depth of just 37.45 metres.

St George Mining has made a strong start to drilling at their East Laverton nickel project with drill hits of prospective ultramafic rocks from the first two holes in the program. The new holes have confirmed a western extension of the Windsor ultramafic unit that produced high grade nickel intercepts for BHP back in 2012. St George rocketed up the ASX this month on the back of its Mt Alexander results.

After spectacularly setting the market alight with a share price run from 7.9c to 48c, St George Mining say they are well and truly still in the hunt for a company making nickel-copper discovery near Agnew. Recent drilling expanded the mineralised footprint at the project and provided solid indications that the deposit thickens to the north and west of St George's 17m discovery intersection.
