Grant King was appointed Managing Director of the Company at the time of its demerger from Boral in February 2000, and was Managing Director of Boral Energy from 1994. Grant is a member of the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Committee. Prior to joining Boral, he was General Manager, AGL Gas Companies. Grant is a councillor of the Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association, a Director of the Business Council of Australia and Chairman of the Business Council of Australia Infrastructure & Sustainability Growth Committee. He is a former Chairman of Contact Energy, a former Director of Envestra and former Chairman of the Energy Supply Association of Australia. Grant is a Fellow of the AICD. He has a Civil Engineering degree from the University of NSW and a Master of Management from the University of Wollongong.
