Advanced Nano changes name
Bentley-based materials solution company Advanced Nanotechnology Ltd has changed its name to Antaria Ltd as part of its re-branding initiative.
Advance ZincTek (ANO, formerly Advanced Nano Technologies) is a manufacturer of aluminium oxide powder, zinc oxide dispersions and zinc oxide powder for the personal care sector worldwide.

Bentley-based materials solution company Advanced Nanotechnology Ltd has changed its name to Antaria Ltd as part of its re-branding initiative.
Experienced engineer Bruce Cameron is hoping his commercial skills will help turn around the fortunes of struggling technology company Antaria Ltd, which this month adopted a new name to signify a fresh start and change of focus.
Bentley-based Antaria has executed an exclusive $2.4 million licensing deal with a German pharmaceuticals company for the worldwide distribution of a technology used in cosmetics and industrial products.
PERTH technology firm Antaria expects a licensing agreement with global pharmaceutical firm Merck will see its products make an impact on the international market.
Advanced materials developer Antaria will change its focus from research and development to providing customer solutions based on the company’s technology.
Perth-based technology company Antaria has come close to a break even result after achieving 34 per cent growth in sales of $2.67 million.Antaria issued a loss of $25 000 off the back of strong sales growth, down from a near $1.3 million loss for the same time last year.
Ron Higham has been appointed as a non-executive director at Antaria, following theresignations of Lev Mizikovsky and John Young. Mr Higham is an adjunctprofessor of valuation at the University of Queensland Business School, and aformer PwC corporate finance partner.
Geoff Acton has been appointed as interim non-executive director of Antaria. Mr Acton has a wealth of accounting and corporate experience and was recently appointed in July as company secretary of the company.
