Claudie Hughes, an associate in Lavan’s property and leasing team since March 2019, has been promoted to senior associate in July 2022. She has worked on a variety of transactions which included advising corporations, financiers, developers and governments in relation to property developments and joint ventures, sales and acquisitions of commercial and industrial premises, property financing, finance law and general property law including leasing and due diligence.
Ms Hughes also has experience with transactions involving property-related receiverships, and has undertaken a number of successful client secondments to the legal department of a financial institution.
Commencing her legal career in commercial practice in Dublin, Ms Hughes was regularly involved in various large corporate, commercial and property transactions. Following that, she began practicing law at a general practice law firm where she worked for the State Solicitor.
