All Earth Group into administration
Maddington-based civil contractor All Earth Group, which held contracts on two state government projects, has gone into voluntary administration.
Webuild (formerly Salini Impregilo) is a global construction contractor with a focus on large, complex infrastructure projects. Headquartered in Italy, the group has 110 years of experience and delivered 2,000 projects worldwide.
It entered the Western Australia market in 2016 after winning a contract to build the Forrestfield Airport Link. It formed an 80:20 joint venture with Perth contractor NRW Holdings to deliver the Forrestfield Airport Link. The JV has signed a $1.176 billion contract with the state government. The project, which features 8km of twin rail tunnels under Perth airport and the Swan River and three new stations, has a total budget of $1.86 billion.
In May 2020, the company changed its name from Salini Impregilo to Webuild as part of the group’s evolution to becoming even more global.
