State Swim was founded in Adelaide by former Australian National Swimming Coach and educator David Urry, have been providing aquatic education to young Australians for over 40 years. His son Christian Urry established the Perth operation in the mid-1990s at Hilarys. The business's HQ eventually moved to WA which represents the bulk of the group's 12 centres.
