Former trucking boss Craig Mitchell was funded by advisory firm Azure Capital to build Outback Travel Centres, a network of quality service roadhouses across Western Australia. In June 2017 the directors of OTC and a related entity, Outback Fuel Distributors, appointed Ferrier Hodgson as voluntary administrators. Liquidators were appointed to the company later that year.
