WAH2 is a low-cost, low-emissions ammonia export project aimed at tapping into the rapidly growing Asian Coal Co-Firing Market. Countries like Japan are actively working to reduce their carbon emissions by substituting coal with ammonia in their thermal power stations, leading to a projected surge in ammonia demand over the next decade.
The company changed name to NH3 Clean Energy in December 2024 after a shift in its core business. It was previously focused on the development of the McIntosh Flake Graphite Project in the East Kimberley.
