Downing Teal was established in Perth, Western Australia in 1966 and had a presence in five Australian cities and internationally in the USA, Chile, Peru and Colombia. The Company also had alliance partners in South Africa and Canada. Downing Teal is a recruitment agency and has been sourcing company directors, senior executives, general managers, senior professional and technical staff for the natural resources, utilities, infrastructure, engineering and construction sectors as well as the broader industrial sector.
In April 2019, Downing Teal was acquired by the CGH Group. Downing Teal will merge with Beilby Recruitment (also part of the CGH Group) to form a new entity, Beilby Downing Teal, which will focus on executive search, professional recruitment and contracting service. The DT Workforce business in WA will merge with CoreStaff, another CGH subsidiary.
