Danakali engages in the acquisition, exploration, evaluation, development, and mining of mineral resource properties in Australia and Eritrea. It primarily explores for gold, nickel, and potash prospects, as well as base metals.
The company holds 100% interests in the Duketon Greenstone Belt projects located to the north of Laverton in Western Australia; and 90% interests in the Colluli Potash project covering an area of 906 square kilometers in the Danakil Depression region of Eritrea.
The company changed its name from South Boulder Mines to Danakali in June 2015.
