In 2017, Carawine Resources was spun out of Sheffield Resources with a portfolio of high quality exploration projects in established mineral provinces within Western Australia and Victoria.
It listed in December 2017 via an initial public offer.
In May 2022, Carawine Resources was acquired by QGold.
Carawine Resources was removed from the ASX in October 2025 following QGold compulsory acquisition of all remaining shares in Carawine Resources.
