Broadsword Marine Contractors was established by Grant Farris n 2004 with one catamaran – the "MV Broadsword". This vessel was used daily as a construction crew transfer vessel. It was also used throughout the jetty construction phase of the Conoco Philips Gas Plant at Wickham Point in Darwin Harbour.
