THE Margaret River wine region welcomed its newest microbrewery late last month with the opening of the $10 million Saracen Estate/Duckstein microbrewery.
Margaret River has re-affirmed its position as the state's summer holiday mecca, with the local visitor centre recording an increase of more than 12 per cent in visitor numbers in January, despite the increasing trend towards online bookings.
