Austral Resources is a copper producer operating in Queensland Gulf Country. The company produces LME quality copper cathode, are developing a new open pit copper mine, and have 1,340 km2 of highly prospective exploration tenements. 

Austral Resources mining projects consist of large oxide copper resources. Austral Resources is currently developing the Anthill open pit mine which aims to utilise a contract fleet of excavators and trucks for mining and a road train fleet to deliver the ore to the Mt Kelly processing plant.
