Cash to lead Millennium
Local gold miner Millennium Minerals has found an internal candidate to replace outgoing chief executive Glenn Dovaston, who has resigned after two years at the helm.
Peter Cash joined Millennium Minerals in 2015 as general manager of corporate development where he played a pivotal role in the company’s highly successful turnaround including its recapitalisation, strong operating performance and outstanding exploration results. Mr Cash was promoted to chief executive in March 2017 and resigned from the company in August 2019. He also held positions with other ASX-listed mining companies including CRA Exploration (now Rio Tinto), New Hampton Goldfields, Talisman Mining and Focus Minerals.

Doray Minerals has appointed current business development manager, Rod Jacobs, as chief operating officer. Mr Jacobs replaces Peter Bamford who will be retiring after 5 years as general manager, operations.
