Wood Group to cement footprint
INTERNATIONAL energy services company Wood Group has expanded its presence in the Asia-Pacific with three investments in the Australian market in six months.
Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, delivering critical solutions across energy and materials markets. Wood provides consulting, projects and operations solutions in 60 countries, employing around 35,000 people.
Wood has previously operated as Wood Group PSN, Wood Group Kenny Australia and Wood Group Integrity Management, before their business units were combined in 2016, to work under the one structure of Wood Group.
On 9 October 2017, the Wood Group completed the £2.1 billion acquisition of Amec Foster Wheeler to create Wood PLC.
