German company Vorwerk first created the all-purpose Thermomix cooking device in 1971. In 2001, Grace and Witek Mazur established Thermomix in Australia and have become the leading independent distributor of the product worldwide.
In 2018, Thermomix In Australia Pty Ltd changed its name to The Mix Australia Pty Ltd. The company was acquired by German parent company Vorwerk in late 2024.
