REX Ortho is a Perth-based medical technology startup whose core product is the REX Screw.
The REX Screw is a Removable EXpandable screw for orthopaedic surgery. It is designed to have significantly increased fixation strength and be used to improve outcomes from hip fracture surgeries, spinal and other bone injuries.
The technology was developed at Curtin University by Matthew Oldakowski and Intan Oldakowska.
