New CCA chief
The Construction Contractors Association of WA has appointed Berkelium Consulting director Chris Fitzhardinge as chief executive officer, following the retirement of seven-year veteran John Phillips.
The CCA is the peak industry body for the major civil construction contractors in Western Australia. By its representation, the Association is responsible for some $5 billion per year in Western Australian turnover, undertaking most of the civil infrastructure work performed in WA. Members include Acciona, Clough, Decmil, Downer, Gamuda, Georgiou, John Holland, Laing O'Rourke, McConnell Dowell, NRW and WBHO. The CCA's prime purpose is to represent the industry to the Government, their major clients and relevant stakeholders.
