Good Morning,
Trust that you had a nice weekend and are raring to go for a “short” week due to Easter festivities….
On Saturday, we attended the Formula 1 Grand Prix and although it is great for the Victorian economy, our little neighbourhood of Middle Park, felt like a U2 concert…
We are glad it’s over…
This week, we have a special guest attending for our PeakTV, Chairman of Bega Cheese (BGA)…
Lot’s to talk to Barry about… especially what is happening in China, infant formula and how the company is managing “fake” Bega Cheese products…
So are looking forward to sending you a copy of the interview.
So what happened on Friday night?
US Stocks rallied (Dow +107 points), as Yellen’s comments earlier in the week helped boost risk…
European markets were also higher as commodities rallied, following a boost in demand from Shanghai, prompting steel to the highest level since July 2015…
This is good news…
So… What's on today?
Overseas data: China business indicator March; Euro zone January current account; US Chicago Fed Feb index, US existing Feb home sales.
Fed speakers: Jeffery Lacker, Dennis Lockhart, James Bullard
The SPI is up 29 points this morning
