Emergency services attended a workplace incident at a business on Wittenoom Street in Collie, just after midday yesterday.
Western Australian Police told Business News a 42-year-old man was dead upon arrival.
WA Police will prepare a report for the coroner.
The Collie incident comes a day after WorkSafe started investigating a work-related death in Malaga.
A 71-year-old roof plumber reportedly fell five metres through the metal roof of a vacant factory unit on Tuesday.
In a statement, WorkSafe said its investigators were examining the circumstances to ensure compliance and prevent similar incidents in the future.
Earlier this month, the state's workplace regulator started investigating the death of a man who worked on an offramp on the Mitchell Freeway.
The man was reportedly struck by a falling piece of equipment.
He was a subcontractor for Belmont-based NRW Holdings, working on its HWA Freeway project.
At the time, NRW said circumstances of the incident were being investigated by WA Police and WorkSafe.
