The Southport Street office sold to Relationships Australia for $3.6 million.
Relationships Australia has purchased a West Leederville office from Meerilinga Children and Community Services for $3.6 million.
The relationship support organisation bought the 932 square metre office at 1/22 Southport Street from the non-for profit community services group, to establish a presence in the suburb.
Realmark Commercial's Brent Griffiths, who brokered the deal, described the asset as a standout.
“[It was] a rare opportunity for an owner-occupier to stand out and gain high-volume exposure at the busy intersection of Southport and Cambridge Street in West Leederville,” he said.
“This visibility proved particularly attractive to not-for-profit organisations with four frontrunners from the pool of 25 potential buyers all from that space.”
The office was sold via an eight-week expressions of interest campaign.
Mr Griffiths added that the high response from buyers in the medical and consulting sectors highlighted the growing demand for quality buildings in core precincts.
