WA trade surplus tops $28.3 billion

WESTERN Australia has recorded a $28.3 billion trade surplus for 2005, up from $22.2 billion in 2004, against an overall national result of a deficit of $17.1 billion.“WA’s exports share over 2005 stands at a record 31.3 per cent of the national total, up from a share of 29.7 per cent during 2004,”
