Hall Chadwick WA managing director Wayne Healy, described as a stalwart of the Perth accounting community, has died.
The Subiaco-based accounting firm last week announced Mr Healy's passing.
Mr Healy was managing director at Hall Chadwick WA since September 2018, taking the role when PKF Lawler merged with the company.
He started his accounting career at McGillivray Partners, in 1985, and became a partner at the firm in mid-1990.
McGillivray Partners joined the PKF Lawler network in early 2012, with Mr Healy becoming managing partner.
Mr Healy was a fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and a life member of the Tax Institute.
In its LinkedIn post, Hall Chadwick WA said Mr Healy had been an integral part of the Perth accounting community since 1985.
"Wayne’s dedication and passion for his work were evident throughout his career, and he played a pivotal role in shaping the future of our profession" the post reads.
"He was deeply involved in the creation of the Australian education program of the Tax Institute, leaving a lasting legacy that will benefit generations to come.
"Wayne was more than just a partner at Hall Chadwick; he was a trusted adviser, a confidant, and a close friend. His wisdom, kindness, and unwavering support will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
"We extend our deepest condolences to Wayne’s family and friends during this difficult time. His memory will forever remain a part of Hall Chadwick, and his impact on our lives and the accounting industry will never be forgotten."
